The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is a new NHS England information standard which must be implemented by all organisations that provide NHS or adult social care.
The AIS aims to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss receive information that they can access and understand, for example in large print, braille, Easy read or via email, and professional communication support if they need it, for example from a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. For more information please visit the website www.england.nhs.uk/accessibleinfo.
Please let the surgery know if you wish to make a request related to this standard.
The Accessible Information Standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are given information they can easily read or understand.
Please inform practice staff if you have any communication support needs.
You need to help us make sure we get things right for you by recording your accessibility requirements and information needs alongside your other details.

Disability Access
Wheelchair access
The Surgery has been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit. There is a ramp on the side entrance of the building giving patients easy access.
There are dedicated disabled car parking spaces available immediately outside the entrance of The Surgery.
We have one disabled toilet on the ground floor.
If you cannot climb stairs, our receptionists will be happy to ask a Doctor to see you in a consulting room downstairs.
Disabled Badge
The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park closer to where they need to go. For more information please contact your local council office.
