An important message about polio vaccination for your child

 You may have seen reports on the news recently about polio virus being detected in London sewage. This means all children aged 1 to 9 years in London will now be offered a dose of polio irrespective of vaccination status. All children resident in London who turn1 by age 31 August 2022 and who are under the age of 10 years at 31 August 2022 will be includedPolio vaccination leaflet for parents and carers of children in London aged 1 to 9 years of age via the link below.

 How to book: Please click on the link below to check the algorithm if your child can get a polio vaccination now (depends on when the last dose was given) and call the surgery to book an appointment with one of our nurses.

Exercise classes –Sept 2022

(Free for people living, working or studying in Kingston or belong to Kingston GP Surgery)

Osteoporosis Class(12 weeks- Weight bearing, Muscle Strength & Balance)

Tudor drive Library hall, 192 Tudor Drive, Kingston KT2 5QH

Starting 22nd Sept 2022, Thursdays 10.30-11.30am.

If you have been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia or at risk of developing them. Some risk factors include - A broken bone after a minor bump or fall, family history of hip fracture or osteoporosis, early menopause (before 45), rheumatoid arthritis, Cancer, regularly taking corticosteroid tablets, smoking, or consuming more than 3 units of alcohol per day.

Osteoarthritis Knee Class (12 weeks- Knee Exercises and Education)

St. George’s Church, Hamilton Avenue, Tolworth KT6 7PT

Starting 20th Sept 2022, Tuesdays 13.30-14.30pm.

If you have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in your knee.

Strength and Balance Class (10 weeks)

St. George’s Church, Hamilton Avenue, Tolworth KT6 7PT

Starting 20th Sept 2022, Tuesdays 12.00-13.00pm.

Anyone who has long term conditions and in need of a full body strength and balance workout.

We will be offering both vaccinations at this Practice in September/October.

If we have got your correct mobile number you will receive a text message from us with an invitation.

Eligible co-horts will be:

  • Age 50 by 31st March 2023 and over
  • Bellow age 50 if with any underlying condition
  • Eligibility for Flu vaccine for children is similar to last year's. We will send an invite.



Please do not delay getting healthcare. If you need urgent medical help and it is not an emergency, contact your GP or NHS111 online or telephone NHS111 first. During the COVID-19 pandemic it is important that A & E is only used by those with serious or life-threatening problems. There are many ways to get the right care at the right time via, your Pharmacist and your GP. Your GP offers online, telephone and video consultations. If you are invited in for a face to face appointment, infection control measures are in place to  keep patients and staff safe.
