NHS targeted Lung Health Check

St Albans Medical Centre is supporting the NHS Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This service is for people aged between 55 and 74 who smoke or used to smoke, to help support early detection and treatment of lung cancer. Eligible patients from our practice will receive a letter from a provider called In Health on our behalf, inviting them for a lung health check, from early in 2025.

The check is quick, simple, and a good way of spotting lung-related problems early on, when any treatment needed can be simpler and more successful.
